The included 240W power adapter, gigabit ethernet, and six USB ports make it ideal for power users, video editors, engineers, and anyone with a demanding setup. For Dell Precision workstations and heavy workloads — this dock is the high-end variant from Dell's WD19 generation, originally sold for €350–450 new. The 240W power adapter alone has a replacement value of €80–120.

For the maximum 4× 4K @60Hz configuration, a Dell Precision 7000 series system with a dedicated graphics card is required. With the Precision 7540/7740 with AMD graphics, up to six displays are even possible.

- Works with non-Dell laptops with USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode (charging capacity limited to 90W; power button does not function).
